For northern Wisconsin this is not for cold weather but for those 30-40 degree days that we get in the winter, and for us that is a warm day this jacket is just right. The jacket was a very good value and I don't know if I will use it but the fact that you can pack it into it's own pouch is a plus.This is a very nice jacket. This was a gift for a golfer.
