My mom found a recipe that she's been dying to try, but she needed an owl cookie cutter for it and hasn't had any succuss finding one. After listening to her trials and tribulations during her search, I arrogantly stared thinking that I'd have NO PROBLEM finding one, I just had to put a little time, effort, & patience into it. Well, after checking several grocery stores, craft stores, a professional baking supply store and even a hardware store (don't know what I was thinking there...maybe the owl cookie cutter would be in between the money wrenches and the snakes for the toilet), I was about to sneak back to the craft store and by the 50 piece animal cookie cutter kit for almost $50, pull out the owl cutter, and present it to my mom like it had been no trouble at all find (except that I don't HAVE an extra $50 for stupid cookie cutters, and no use whatsoever for the other 49). Finally, I was perusing Amazon, not really expecting to find anything, when BAM! There it was! A great, metal owel cookie cutter (as opposed to the plastic cutters in the kit that would have probably melt in the dish washer or when we left it accidently on the hot stove burner...believe me, here, that could happen). Anyway, between the wonderful price, the quality of the craftsmanship, and the fact that I don't have to find a home for the other 49 animal-shaped cutters in the kit, I'm definitely thrilled. And mom can't wait to try her new recipe, which will allow me to gain another 10 pounds, but all worth it in the long run. Thank you Amazon.com, and thank you seller Knextion.
